Use

Set the selected vessel on a level, stable surface. Pour prepared tea gently into cups, leaving space below the rim. For the gaiwan or teapot, add leaves and water for your chosen tea, then pour with care; the vessel and lid can become hot. Let drinks reach a comfortable temperature. Keep teapots and cups separate on the table rather than stacking a pot inside a cup.

Care

Hand-wash each piece with mild detergent and a soft cloth, rinse and dry. Avoid abrasive pads, hard impacts and sudden temperature changes. Handle rims, spouts, lids and saucers carefully. Microwave, dishwasher and direct-heat suitability have not been verified.
