Use
Set the pieces on a stable surface. Add loose-leaf tea to the gaiwan or teapot, then add water gently, leaving space below the rim. For a gaiwan, use its lid to control the pouring gap and handle the hot bowl carefully. Transfer tea to the pitcher where included, using the matching ceramic filter where selected, then share among the cups. Porcelain and tea can become hot; handle with care.
Care
Let the pieces cool before washing. Hand-wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge, rinse and dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners, knocks and sudden temperature changes. Keep the jar tassel and paperboard gift box dry. Wipe wooden tea tools and dry promptly rather than soaking them. Microwave, dishwasher, stovetop and direct-flame suitability are unverified.

How many cups are included?
Plain and bamboo options show six cups. The grey-mountain and red-tree landscape option shows eight cups.
What is the difference between classic and large gaiwans?
The classic gaiwan has a low disc-shaped lid knob and slim cups. The large gaiwan has a taller flared knob and low flared cups.
Does every set include a tray or gift box?
Styled wooden trays and coasters are not included. A blue-green fitted gift box is included only with the four explicitly named gift-box options.
Is the material jade or solid gold?
These are porcelain pieces with gold-tone trim. The supplier uses jade-like wording for the porcelain appearance; actual jade stone and solid-gold content are not established.
Are the capacities verified usable volumes?
